The Art of Kindness - World Kindness Day

Today is #WorldKindnessDay and although this year has seen tumultuous changes across society and the stress and strains has impacted both communities, families, and individuals; the kindness and empathy shown has been remarkable.

The outpouring of kindness has ranged from the fleeting kindness of strangers on the street, understanding the mutual understanding that we are all under pressure and empathy that we are missing loved ones.

Looking to the future, the coming winter months will not be the same without the usual social gatherings and a huge amount of people will be isolated. Whether knocking on a neighbour’s door to see if they are coping, or a Zoom calling a colleague in need; kindness and compassion must be at the heart of what we do.

The ethos at Moon Executive Search has always been that ‘kindness matters’. Our conduct is based around humility, professionalism and connecting with others. Our hope is that we, as individuals, as businesses and as a society, can continue to treat others, and ourselves, with kindness and forgiveness.
