Chair of the Board & Company Secretary - Steep Holm

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Board of the charity that owns and manages Steep Holm Island, which sits in the Bristol Channel just off Weston-Super-Mare. The Island is managed as a nature reserve which accommodates archaeological and military history.
Moon Executive Search is delighted to announce that we are the official recruitment partner to appoint a new Chair of the Board of Trustees and a new Company Secretary. The Kenneth Allsop Memorial Trust owns and manages the small island of Steep Holm, which sits in the Bristol Channel just off Weston-Super-Mare.
Moon Executive Search will play a key role in assisting the Trust in this search campaign, utilising our extensive networks and search methodologies. We are looking to source two high-calibre individuals that can contribute to the development of this unique and interesting charity (no 270059).

Our new Chair will take the lead in manging a small group of dedicated Trustees, who look after the day to day administration of the island, with a Volunteer Island Warden and the help of other volunteers, to preserve and enhance the island’s natural beauty and landscape, together with its antiquities, wildlife, archaeological and military history for everyone to enjoy, in the years ahead. Our new Chair and our new Company Secretary will therefore help develop us achieve our aims and goals.’
The Island of Steep Holm
Both roles will be appointed on a voluntary pro bono basis and will work closely with the existing Trustees, the volunteer Warden of the Island, the other volunteers and its paid up members.
Moon Executive Search will be seeking expressions of interest and CVs over the next few weeks from prospective candidates with a shared passion for Steep Holm as a nature reserve and bird sanctuary, as well as caring for the historical archaeological remains and military installations that are to be found on the island to this day.
