PROMISEworks Announces New Trustee
PROMISEworks has been working with Moon Executive Search to search for a high-calibre Trustee to help shape the future of the charity.
An established mentoring charity within the Somerset area, PROMISEworks is looking towards re-establishing its growth following the restrictions imposed by the current COVID-19 crisis.
“Our search was focused on finding a tenacious and approachable individual who had a strong commercial business background, who could help push this invaluable charity forward, but also had a connection to the geographical area they operated within which was Somerset” commented Sandy Hinks, Head of Charity Practice.
Sandy continued: “We targeted people in our network across different sectors that we knew could lead, drive change and work as part of the team, but also had that connection geographical either working or living within Somerset.”
After deliberation from the board, Andrew Holmes was chosen as the new trustee due to his impressive record of commercial success and his ability to encourage his teams to progress and grow, both together and as individuals.”
Chair of Trustees, Robert Peto said: “We were looking for ambitious and a commercial business mindset, someone who could help contribute to the charity’s development, strategy and financial governance, as well raising funds for the charity. Andrew fits these criteria and much, much more. He has a wealth of experience in some of the biggest companies in the world and a personality to bring the best out of the team at PROMISEworks.”
He added: “We are grateful to the team at Moon Executive Search for unearthing an excellent Trustee for us and we feel that they found an ideal person for the role in Andrew. His skills will help further our relationships with the partners and push the charity forward.”
