St. Mary Redcliffe Church Lands Charity Trustee Announcement

n_9638-1.jpg

St. Mary Redcliffe Church Lands Charity (Charity no 21109) are looking for new directors (of a Trustee style) of the charity which provides extensive funding for the maintenance of St Mary Redcliffe Church and support of its charitable works in the parish it serves.

This is a rare opportunity to be involved with one of the most iconic buildings and churches in the country and with a historic Bristol charity which supports it. The charity that has ancient origins dating back to the 12th Century and including a re-endowment by Elizabeth I, following confiscation by Henry VIII.

It is also a great time to be involved with St Mary Redcliffe parish which is embarking on numerous exciting development projects. Following the substantial redevelopment of the Redcliffe Village area to the north of the church, the parish is likely to continue to include sharply contrasting areas of affluence and deprivation. The original charitable purposes of the 800-year-old charity remain as relevant now as they did then.

‘We are delighted to announce the appointment of Moon Executive Search as our official recruitment partner to appoint several new directors.
