Moon Executive Search is appointed official recruitment partner to Spike Island to find a new Trustee to join the Board at Spike Island in Bristol.

Spike Island is a dynamic arts centre that supports, produces and presents contemporary art and culture. They engage audiences in their work through a diverse programme of exhibitions and events; and they directly support artists through new commissions, studio provision and critically engaged artist development opportunities.

The Board of Trustees is critical in setting and overseeing Spike Island’s mission and working with the executive team to lead on and enact the vision for the organisation’s future.

Moon Executive Search will play a key role in assisting the Charity in this search campaign, utilising our extensive networks and search methodologies. We are looking to source a high-calibre individual who can contribute to the development of this unique and interesting charity (no 1003505).

The Board is looking to expand its group of Trustees as they move into the next phase of development and is interested in recruiting a candidate with skills and experience in the legal sector, particularly commercial and charity law.

Spike Island want the Board of Trustees to be representative of our city, the artists and arts professionals they work with, and the audiences they seek to engage. We therefore strongly encourage applications from people who identify as Black, Asian or minority ethnic, young, disabled, LGBTQI+, working class, or living or working in areas of lower socioeconomic background in Bristol.
