Voscur seek new CEO in Bristol

£51,958 per annum plus 7% employer pension contribution.
Voscur is the leading support and development agency for Bristol's voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector. They enable and develop organisations in and around Bristol to increase their social, economic and environmental impact. They also work with the investors who commission and fund the work of the VCSE sector, to ensure they make informed decisions and design effective services. A key aspect of this work is their role in building relationships between organisations and investors to help them work together to coordinate services and maximise their social value.
We are now seeking a new CEO who will lead the organisation. The new CEO will be expected to provide leadership and strategic direction to Voscur to enable the achievement of its vision, values, and objectives, to grow the business, and to seek and realise opportunities for new business and joint working. You will also work with the Voscur Board of Trustees to lead and support the development of a strong, vibrant, and independent voluntary community and social economy (VCSE) sector in Bristol, the West of England and the wider South-West.
The prospective CEO should have at least five years’ experience of managing complex projects or organisations, gained in a dynamic business, public or voluntary sector setting. You will also have experience of creating and maintaining working relationships with a wide range of people and agencies, including senior level staff and decision makers, and of influencing policy and programme developments within a ‘political’ environment.
