North Somerset People First are seeking two new Board Trustees
North Somerset People First was set up with the aim of improving the lives of people with a learning disability by introducing self-advocacy. They are a voluntary sector self-advocacy charity, working for and led by the voices of people with a learning disability and/or autism. They are now beginning a journey of expansion into Bristol & South Gloucestershire, making this an exciting time to join the Board as a Trustee.
They are seeking new Trustees who share their passion and are keen to share their skills and experience to further strengthen the charity’s Board. The successful candidate will be in a position to contribute to their current and future strategic direction and growth.

North Somerset People First are currently looking to expand the skillset of the existing board members and are seeking professional people with a background or experience of senior management within:
Statutory health and/or social care sector
Education, particularly young people aged 16-25 with learning disabilities and/or autism
Knowledge of local communities and voluntary sector across Bristol and South Gloucestershire
