Quartet Corona virus 2020 Response Fund

Community support available for local causes in and around Bristol.

Our friends at Quartet Community Foundation intend to be as helpful as possible over the coming weeks so that local causes can focus on the important work of supporting our communities and those that are in need.

They have created an emergency fund:  https://quartetcf.org.uk/grant-programmes/coronavirus-response-fund/

This will specifically support these groups in our society:

·       Elderly (aged 65 and over)

·       People with disabilities and/or underlying health difficulties

·       Homeless people

·       Low income families

·       Refugees and asylum seekers

·       People experiencing food poverty

Sue Turner, Quartet’s CEO said, ‘we understand the daily challenges that local causes are facing with the onset of the virus and want to do as much as we can to support and offer emergency funding. Please do review the funding link and share with your contacts and community groups’.

Vanesa Moon, Director of Moon Executive Search said, ‘As a business, corporate social responsibility is at the heart of what we do, and it is especially important in these uncertain times. We love the inspirational stories of philanthropy and the transformation of organisations that Quartet has supported. In 2018-19, they awarded over £3.5million in grants and helped over 850 different organisations. It is lovely to see such good support in this difficult time, so please do share with your network’.

Here is more information regarding the grants that offer local emergency funding to tackle the emerging challenges faced within local communities, as a result of the continuing threat of Coronavirus:
